Donyland Lodge is located in a rural environment on the edge of
Colchester, set in more than four acres of land bordered by trees.

The Lodge is the main house, and accommodates more than half of
our young residents. It challenges their ability to live as a group,
making them look carefully at their behaviour and how it impacts on
others in our community.

The Stables is a recently converted, three-bedded unit on our main
site, which houses new arrivals and is also used for assessments.

The Stores is a house set in a residential area 1.5 miles from the
main site and closer to the town centre. Opened in September 2004,
it houses three boys and focuses on increasing skills for independence
and coping with living in the wider community.

The School currently consists of six classrooms in three buildings on
the main site, and will soon be replaced with a new purpose-built facility.

All young people have their own single bedrooms and are encouraged
to personalise them.
