Gordon has worked in childcare for 14 years and was the Registered Manager at Middlegate Residential Rehabilitation Centre for 5 years prior to joining Donyland Lodge. 

Gordon has a Level 4 NVQ for Managers in Residential Child Care, a Diploma in Child Psychology and a National Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health. Gordon has also completed a number of training courses including safe handling of medicines, substance use (level1&2), first aid at work, food hygiene, child protection, team building, supervision, counselling skills, therapeutic behavioural rationalisation, self harm awareness, suicide first aid, working with abused children, fire safety.
