Gillian Miele, came to work at Donyland Lodge in June 2009.  Gillian has worked in different care settings for the past 20 years. For 7 years prior to joining Donyland Lodge she worked in residential children's homes and successfully managed both large and small EBD group homes. As a Regional Manager Gillian was responsible for ten homes some of which catered for young people with learning disabilities. She holds a ‘train the trainer' qualification as well as an NVQ level 3 in children and young people, NVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care and an NVQ level 4 in Management of Residential Children's Homes. Gillian has studied Law and Child Psychology and completed a number of training courses including first aid, child protection, safe holding, self harming, health and safety, food hygiene, working with abused children, restorative justice.
