Lesley Woodhouse has spent many years working with Children and Families in the voluntary sector, managing community projects for National Children's Homes and Save the Children. A qualified and registered social worker, Lesley worked for Cambridgeshire's Children and Families Team and has experience in Long Term Intervention, Looked After Children, Safeguarding and Fostering and Adoption. In 2002 she was appointed as Inspector of Children's Services for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough by the NCSC/CSCI. Lesley was Operations Manager and later Group Quality and Audit Manager for a nationwide provider of residential care and education services to looked after children. Prior to joining Donyland Lodge in 2009, Lesley was Children's Services Manager (eastern region) with the NSPCC. In addition she has also had secondments in The Probation Service and Bridgegate Drug and Alcohol Agency. Lesley is also a practice partner with the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) this group meets to review and advice on matters of social care policy, intervention and research.
