Georgina Lorton joined Donyland Lodge in November 2008.  She completed a BA (Honours) Degree in Printed Textile Design and the Decorative Arts at Middlesex University and after a spell of textile designing went to work as an art teacher and counselor in America.  On her return to England she completed her Post Graduate Certificate for Art Secondary Education at the University of Brighton.  Her experience in Education has included Head of Textiles and Head of Art & Design in mainstream secondary schools and Art and KS3 coordinator in a residential therapeutic community and school.  Georgina has also completed an Art Therapy introductory course with BAAT in London.
