The school has designated classrooms for English, Maths, Science, ICT, Art and Design, ASDAN, Lifeskills and practical activities. We offer a broad balanced curriculum which, appropriate to individual need, acts as a gateway to further education, training and employment. The curriculum is differentiated through the use of relevant materials and resources, teaching styles and modified approaches to learning. It allows pupils to gain the knowledge, skills, understanding and experiences which prepare them for the opportunities and responsibilities of adult life and equip them to take an active and purposeful part in society. The school day is timetabled to cover core subjects delivered by subject specialists as well as providing opportunities for individual programmes according to Individual Education Plans.
